Mission Statement
Mayville State University’s Intramural Department gives all students the chance to experience significant and valuable involvement in recreational sports. The intramural department provides opportunities for students to improve their overall levels of physical activity and quality of life through sports activity regardless of skill level. It also creates a friendly atmosphere in which one can build new friendships, sportsmanship, responsibility and respect for others through friendly competition.

Joining a Team
In order to participate in intramurals you must:
· Form or join team that has signed up for current intramural activities
· Be on a team before the start of the current activity
· Be currently enrolled in classes
· Only be on one team per sport at a time |
Working for Intramurals
In order to become a worker/referee for games you must:
· Be willing to work a variety of times (afternoons and evenings)
· Have all paperwork filled out in the business office before starting employment for intramurals
· Arrange a meeting with the Intramural Coordinator before the start of the season for rules and guidelines
